A group of words which expresses a complete idea or meaning is called a sentence.
Examples:
- He bought flowers.
- She finishes her work.
Now, look at another group of words “mother food cook”. This group of words doesn't give complete idea or sense. There are some more examples.
Examples:
He goes to the office.
She is eating an apple.
My name is John.
What are you doing?
Who are you?
What a beautiful car!
Simon loves his father very much.
