Baby Spinach and Strawberry Salad


  • Baby spinach leaves 12-16

  • Strawberries hulled 6-8

  • Red  vinegar 2 tablespoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Crushed black peppercorns 1 teaspoon

  • Olive oil 2 tablespoons

  • Hazelnuts for garnishing


Refresh baby spinach leaves by placing them in a bowl with iced water for 10 minutes.

Put red  vinegar, salt, crushed peppercorns and olive oil in a bowl and whisk well.

Halve strawberries and add to the bowl. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.

Drain spinach leaves and add to chilled strawberries. Toss well.

Serve chilled garnished with hazelnuts.
