
INGREDIENTS:
- Bhindi (Okra) – 1/2 kg (wash, pat dry and cut in julienne)
- Onions – 4 (thinly sliced)
- Crushed red chili – 1/2 tbsp
- Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
- Whole green chilies – 3
- Lemon – 3
- Salt – to taste
- Oil – 1/2 cup
METHOD:
Heat up oil in a wok, then add onions. Fry until they’re golden brown, then add lady fingers (okra), turmeric powder, red chilies and cumin seeds. Fry for 1 – 2 minutes. Cover and cook on steam for 5 minutes. Then add lemon juice, green chilies and salt. Mix and serve with puri.
