Soak the cashew nuts in worm water for 6 hrs or overnight. Drain out nuts from the water and make a smooth paste by the help of grinder.
Do not put water into the paste while grinding. It may take more time to cook.
Measure the weight of paste, take equal amount of sugar and add with the paste, cook as melt the sugar.
Add both the sugar and cashew paste in a non stick pan. Add the ghee and cook well until it combine together.
When it starts leaving the stickyness from the pan as cashew paste turns into halwa, add a pinch of cardamom powder and mix them well.
Remove it from heat, and knead to a smooth ball or like a dough.
You will get a nice dough. Now flatten the same with the rolling pin, cut it into diamond shape and serve.
