
Ingredients
- Water – 2 to 3 Liters
- Jo - ¾ cup (overnight socked)
- Wheat – 1 and half cup (overnight socked)
- Baking soda – half teaspoon
- Cooking oil – 2 to 3 tablespoon
- Ginger and garlic paste – 2 teaspoon
- Boneless chicken – half kg
- Red chili powder – 1 tablespoon
- Dhanya powder – half tablespoon
- Haldi powder – 1 teaspoon
- Green chili – 1 tablespoon (chopped)
- Salt – as needed
- Yogurt – 1 cup
- Onion – 3 teaspoons (fried)
- Chicken cubes – 2
- Boiled water - as needed
- Garam masla powder - 3 teaspoon
- Jaifal and javatri powder – half teaspoon
- Chat masala - as needed
- Oil
- Onion – 1 (cut into small pieces)
- Green chilli – to garnish
- Ginger – to garnish
- Hara dhanya – to garnish
- Lemon
Method
- Take a pan and boil jo and wheat for 30 minutes on a low flam. Now add baking soda into it and cover then cook for about an hour. When it gets little cool, blend it well in a blender.
- Take another pan and heat oil. Now cook boneless chicken along with ginger garlic paste until it turns brown.
- Now add Red chili powder, dhanya powder, Haldi powder, Green chili, Yogurt and salt in it and cook them well until the chicken gets soft.
- Now add fried onion into it mix it well. Now put mashed chicken aside, now add jo and wheat and chicken cubes in it then mix them well.
- Now add salt and boiled water in it then blend them well.
- Now add garam masalah powder, jaifal and jawatri powder and chat masalah into it.
- Take a frying pan and heat some oil then fry onion till it gets golden. Now add it in Haleem and mix well.
- Now serve chicken Haleem to your family with brown onion, green chili, hara dhanya, ginger, chat masalah and lemon.
