Pizza Pollo Pomodoro


For Dough

  • All purpose flour 3 cup
  • Instant yeast 1 tbsp
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • For Topping:
  • Chicken breast 1 (boneless)
  • Tomatoes ½ kg (chopped)
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Oregano 1 tbsp
  • Brown sugar 2 tbsp
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Olive oil as required
  • Red chilies flakes 1 tbsp
  • Mozzarella cheese 1 cup
  • For Salad:
  • Ice berg lettuce 1 ball (sliced)
  • Red onion 1 (sliced)
  • Parsley 1/2 bunch (chopped)
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp


For Dough:

  • Dissolve yeast in a little lukewarm water and leave it in a warm place until its double and foamy.

  • Mix in sugar.

  • Sift flour with salt, add in yeast mixture and knead the dough with required water.

  • Leave it in a warm place for 2 hours to rise.

  • When double in quantity, punch down the dough and leave it to rise again for 1/2 an hour.

  • For Topping: Apply salt, oregano, black pepper and olive oil on chicken breast and grill it.

  • Take another pan and put olive oil, garlic, red chilies flakes, tomatoes, salt and brown sugar and cook them.

  • Then blend them well.

  • Place rolled out pizza dough in pizza pan and put tomato sauce over it.

  • Sprinkle grated cheese and chicken over it.

  • Place it in a pre-heated oven at 200 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

  • For Salad: Put ice berg lettuce, onion and parsley in a bowl.

  • Add in lemon juice and 2 tbsp olive oil.

  • Season with salt and pepper and toss well.
